Sets default output and formatting settings.

Syntax

.standard

Description

defines the default parameter and mode settings for Runoff text.

Default parameters:

'.capitalize sentences', '.crt', '.fill', '.footing (null)', '.heading (null)', '.justify', '.left margin 0', '.line length 70', '.paragraph 5', and '.upper case'.
