tcl.start.rtc

Verb: Access/TCL, Releases: AP and R83

Starts real time clock.

Description

initiates the system real time clock.

This happens automatically during the boot process, provided a real time clock is present. If one is not present, the current time is requested from the person standing closest to the console.

On AP/Unix systems, this command sets the Pick date and time equal to the Unix date and time, clearing up any discrepancies caused by 'set-date' or 'set-time' commands.
